Abstract

Since 1937 in Press and Propaganda National Committee of Falange Española and in 1938 in Press and Propaganda Public Services, there were politics of union of the whole press of the Movimiento. And this affected to Pelayos, the most sold weekly journal for children in Spain in that moment. It was written by two priest and was traditionalist. In Press and Propaganda Public Services it was decided that Pelayos and Flecha (the Falangist journal for children) will disappear and Flechas y Pelayos was born, on Benedictine Justo Pérez de Urbel's direction. Here is a study about Catholic and political aspects of this episode, as an aspect of Franco' s regime dictatorial attitudes. It is based on hemerography and Gomá archives documentation.
