In 1820, the re-establishment of the liberal system rouses the enthusiasm of some members of the spanish clergy. At that time, the sacred oratory was an important element in order to shape public opinion, too. In the following pages, for example, we classify and transcribe the sermon pronunced by José Garrido y Portilla, magisterial canon of Cordoba's catedral, on July 21st of that same year, owing to royal oath of the Constitution.
