During the progressive two-year period (1854-56), the Church-State relationships mastered the political scene. There were two important subjets: The catholic «Unity» of Spain put in question in the second Base of the new Constitution, and a new project for secularizing the real estate of the Church. The article is conceived as continuation from another one (Hispania Sacra, vol. XLIII, n.° 88) and analyses the political speechs and amendments.
