The referenced article analyses some issues of the royal grace as an accorded process between several parts. It's based on an unpublished letters collection about don Jerónimo Manrique's complicated consecration as bishop of Cartagena in 1582. From this viewpoint, the paper is focussed on the promotion expectation of the involves themselves, rather than the royal gracefull freedom, that was limited by the graceful men opposition or even by the Pope's competence. The thesis of the article is that the concession, as a political arrangement for the loyalty to the Crown, its able to create deviated attitudes inside the system and confrontations even between members of a family.
