Abstract

In 1487 the land of Málaga and its ancient bishopric was tourning back to the area of the Christianity through the warlike effort put under wayby the Catholic Kings, encouraged by the Apostolic See that increased it to Crusade range, the Espiscopal of Ávila was found governed by the meritorious prelate Hernando de Talavera. Though Hernando of Talavera was not ever been bishop of Málaga, it was, however, a great prelate of this Church. He gives the basics in order that later its became an illustrious bishopric by the category of many of his prelates. For this reason, it is not illogical to proclaim that the Ávila Church played a important role in the misional action of the setting-up of the Málaga bishopric.
