The article shows the “relación” of the Brother Domingo Baltans’s trial, these documents were completely unknown up to now. The document removes any doubt about the accusation which caused Baltanás’s trial and his conviction. This research is a way to bring up for discussion again Dominican friar’s role in the troubled religious setting of 16th century Seville.
