The article analyzes some popular devotions of the province of Cuyo (Argentina). They are those of Difunta Correa, Gaucho José Dolores or the Niño Ceferino Namuncura, developed to the margin of the catholic Church. They arose between 1850 and 1900-1920. The Authors describe the popular force of these devotions. Illustrations (taken in 1998) of the described places are included.
