Abstract

The disputes between the ecclesiastic ordinary jurisdictions that they were holding the bishops and the special jurisdictions that were seeking protection in apostolic privileges, were constant during L'Ancien Régime. In spite of their apparent support to Episcopal reasons, neither the borbonic ministers, nor the liberal «doceañistas», supported seriously bishops' claims against Military Orders and military vicarious, because they were also entering game the economic needs of the Monarchy and the submission of the Spanish Church towards the sovereign one.
