Historic and cultural references in Jesuits’ writings in XVIth century Japan

Jesuits’ writings have provided us a vast source of information about civilizations who intended to evangelize. The article below aims to prove the historic, social and cultural value from these relations. Thus, we give a summary view of many aspects from the 16th century’s second half in Japan: an absolutely opposite world to the West which these fathers were forced to coexist with until their final settlement.
